USCIS suspends in-person care for migrants on January 19-20 for fear of attacks

The Office of Immigration and Citizenship Services ( USCIS ) announced that it will suspend in-person care in the next few days 19 and 20, in order to “ensure the safety” of employees and people with appointments .

As noted by the federal agency in a statement released on Friday, the temporary suspension covers all local offices, asylum offices and assistance centers.

He added that those people who had appointments for those days will receive a notification in which they will be informed of the new date.
