Signal tweeted that they have been adding new servers and additional capacity but record demand has exceeded his projections, he clarifies that millions and millions of new users are sending messages and he took the opportunity to emphasize that privacy is important .

We have been adding new servers and extra capacity at a record pace e very single day this week nonstop, but today exceeded even our most optimistic projections. Millions upon millions of new users are sending a message that privacy matters. We appreciate your patience.

Nobody would have imagined that the announcement of changes in the privacy policies of the most popular application in the world, would end up being a great advertising campaign for Signal and Telegram .

If to this we add the support and recommendation of Musk to the application , it is understandable that the servers are experiencing saturation , such a large increase in users in such a short time implies new challenges that Signal will have to face because they will surely follow millions of people who migrate from WhatsApp .
