Before becoming president of the United States, Donald Trump had combined his career as a businessman with another in the entertainment world, presenting the contest “The apprentice” and appearing in very popular productions such as the series “Sex and the city” . In the film industry it was an open secret that the only way to get permission to shoot on one of their properties was to offer him a cameo in the project in question.

The director of “Home alone 2” , Chris Columbus , maintains that the controversial president did bullying until he was able to include it in the film, apparently not caring that the team had paid in advance the corresponding fee to reserve the lobby of the Plaza Hotel in the Big Apple that Trump had acquired in 1988 and that it would end up selling a few years later.

From the tone of the statements that the filmmaker has made about the still president, it is most likely that he did not care too much that it was removed from the tape, as claimed now Twitter . Of course, Macaulay Culkin -the protagonist of the first two installments of the saga- has made it clear that the proposal has all its support for.

“They have convinced me” , the former child star has affirmed in response to a tweet asking for special effects to be used to erase Trump from the scene in which his character crosses him in the hotel lobby and is replaced by an adult version of the actor himself.
