The start of the tournament for Chivas has been complicated and in their home debut, the team tied 1-1 against Toluca , in a match on the second day of the Guard1anes tournament 2021.
Jesús Molina put Guadalajara ahead one minute 23, but the taste of the goal did not last long, as Kevin Castañeda gave Toluca the equalizer at 25.

In the two matches of the current tournament, Chivas has drawn, since on the first match they drew 1-1 against Puebla.
