NEW YORK – The Department of Justice revealed this Thursday the charges filed against 14 outstanding leaders of the Mara Salvatrucha or MS – 13 in Central Islip, in the state of New York, who claim they directed the criminal activities and group violence around the world, for nearly two decades.
According to a statement sent to the press, the 14 members of a group of the Mara Salvatrucha known in Currently as Ranfla Nacional, are accused of conspiring to provide material to support terrorists, conspiring to commit acts of terrorism outside the United States, and conspiring to finance terrorism and narco-terrorism from El Salvador, Mexico and from the United States.
Among the accused is Borromeo Enrique Henrique z, aka “Little Devil of Hollywood,” which is considered to be the most powerful member of the National Ranfla.
There are also three members who are still at large, on which e l Department of Justice offered a reward of $ 20, 000 dollars for information that can help locate and arrest them: Fredy Ivan Jandres-Parada, alias “Lucky from Park View” and “Lacky from Park View”; Cesar Humberto Lopez-Larios, alias “El Grenas de Stoners” and “Oso de Stoners”; and Hugo Armando Quinteros-Mineros, alias “Flaco de Francis”.

The other 11 accused are in police custody in El Salvador,
but the US authorities indicated that they are “exploring” the options to extradite them to the country.
“ The accusations announced today are the highest and most extensive against the MS – 13 and its control structure of US history. ” stated the acting attorney general of the country, Jeffrey Rosen.
“Working together with our colleagues in the US security forces and colleagues at El Salvador, we have brought charges against the highest officials of the MS – 13 of operate an organization transnational criminal action that uses terror to impose its will on innocent neighborhoods, businesses and civilians throughout the US and Central America, ”he added.
For his part, the acting prosecutor for the Eastern District of New York, Seth DuCharme , recalled that the MS – 13 is responsible for “a wave of death and violence that has terrorized communities ”, specifically that of the Long Island region, in the eastern part of the New York state.
“Even in prison, the National Ranfla continued directing the global operations of the MS – DuCharme added.
The imputation states that approximately in 2002, these 14 members and other leaders of the MS – 13 began to establish a highly organized and hierarchical command with the aim of putting their decisions into practice even while in prison.
Thus, they directed acts of violence and murders in El Salvador, the United States and other countries , while established military-style training camps for their members and took over Weapons such as rifles, grenades, pistols, rocket launchers and improvised explosive devices.
Also, the Ranfla Nacional established a series of strict rules for members of the MS – 13 with The objective of ensuring their loyalty, while exercising their power over the government of El Salvador by committing acts of violence and intimidation against Salvadoran officials, which led to the group to order the aces innate of some of them and of members of the country’s law enforcement agencies.
The accusation occurs after in 2019, the then attorney general of the country, William Barr, will create a special division to fight the MS – 13 following President Donald Trump’s executive order of 2017 to fight organized crime and increase the security of the U.S. population.
