Donald Trump released a new video condemning political violence, but in the short speech he filmed in the Oval Office he did not mention the House vote to impeach him in impeachment a second time.
“I want to make it very clear: I condemn unequivocally the violence we saw last week, ” Trump said in the video, which was posted on the White House YouTube channel. He added that “no true supporter of mine could ever endorse political violence.”
“We cannot tolerate it,” he said.
The video appears after that 10 Republican House members joined with Democrats in passing a new impeachment.
Trump is accused of inciting the insurrection on Capitol Hill last week .
