Sono Sion, a prototype of solar energy

CES 2021 shows the Sono Sion, a Concept powered by the sun that is very close to its production.

Sono Motors has unveiled the second prototype of the Sion , a vehicle that only needs solar energy to move.

The technology used for its operation consists of solar cell phones distributed by the entire vehicle.

Its electric motor develops about 163 horsepower (120 kW) and achieves about 140 km / h top speed.

On the other hand, the Sono Sion has a battery of 35 kWh capacity that allows you to travel a few 255 kilometers.

As long as it has a fast recharge system which will not take more than 30 minutes.

On the outside, it has simple lines with a drop from the ceiling rec ta that leads to the long gate. It also sports bulky doors and large glass surfaces.

The cabin is complete sample, as a production model. There, the screens arranged for the dashboard and the multimedia center stand out.

Some comfort details such as the electric tailgate, keyless entry and start and air have also been released conditioning.

Pending its release next year, the Sono Sion adjusts the small details to finally become a serial production model.
