Among friends, Los Rabanes celebrates 25 years of existence

In the family of Emilio Regueira, leader and vocalist of Los Rabanes, the controversy arose about whether or not they should get the coronavirus vaccine. Regueira, who has a sense of humor that sprouts through his pores, took advantage of the song to write “La Vaccine”, the first cut of what will be his next album.

“Mis aunts are very salty women, very Latin, very dancers; my cousins too, “said the Panamanian singer in a recent virtual press conference. “They spoke that one was going to get the vaccine, the other said that she would not, another said that she would and from there we brought up “.

Although the lyrics are totally new, the rhythm of this song is not, since it is about the reversal of” Las locas “, a merengue that the Rosario Brothers became very popular in the eighties.

The video for the song, which had a rather homemade manufacture, includes many of the women who are close to Regueira, who said that He grew up without the presence of men because his mother raised them only.

“I think the 90 Percent of the names that appear here are aunts, cousins, acquaintances of mine “he said.
