YouTube, the Google-owned company said Tuesday night that Trump uploaded content that violated its policies , leading to a minimum seven-day suspension for uploading new content.
YouTube reported that it is also disabling the comment section of Donald Trump’s YouTube account which has 2. 77 million subscribers and generally posts several videos a day of himself and right-wing media.

YouTube has a rule of three suspensions before doing a permanent ban. The temporary suspension means that Trump’s account and existing videos will remain accessible, but you will not be able to upload new content.
The company did not specify what video violated their policies.
Under YouTube’s three-notice system, a channel will be suspended for a week after the first notice, two after the second, and will be canceled after a third notice within of the 90 days.
YouTube’s suspension of Trump’s account comes after violence in the US Capitol by some Trump supporters on Wednesday, which left five dead.
Politicians and the public have asked tech and social media companies is that they more closely moderate their platforms, which run the risk of inciting more violence.
