Ranger uses his aim to rescue two deer with their antlers locked

A precision-shooting Kansas ranger rescued two males with intertwined antlers when he managed to shoot at the antler of one of the deer, without injure any of the animals.

Kansas Wildlife, Parks & Tourism Game Wardens said in a Facebook post that a bow hunter had reported the two deer with their antlers entangled in Jackson County, and that the hunter notified the rangers.

The rangers located the male deer, but could not get too close because the animals they were still fighting violently.

Ranger Jeff Clouser was able to make a clear shot and used his weapon to shoot a pole, breaking it and thus freeing the two deer.
