A report called “El cartel del Gol” was recently published, where the promoter networks that “have maintained almost absolute control over the hiring of players” in Mexican soccer are disclosed.

Given the allegations of being involved In a corruption network of promoters in Liga MX , Miguel Herrera came out to deny the accusations.
In an interview with ESPN, El Piojo denied any relationship with Greg Taylor and Carlos Hurtado, who are said to “manage” Mexican soccer, and explained that he has never had a promoter.

He Former America coach dismissed the investigation as “not very serious” that drew attention just by mentioning the names of recognized coach such as him, Mohamed, Palencia and Chepo de la Torre.
“It seems to me a not very serious note, of a type who is also in Quintana Roo and that is a small note and that has made it bigger because of the names that he put than because of the research he could having given this person, which seems to me is nothing serious about his research. ”
