A renowned pediatrician from Broward County, north of Miami, has been arrested during an operation against child pornography in South Florida. The Broward Sheriff’s Office said it all started when they received a tip in June that led them to Dr. Michael Mizrachy.
Among the evidence officers said they found is a video that they claimed showed child pornography. In addition there were also photos of girls, between 10 and 15 years , in a bathing suit and underwear.

The agents said that these victims were friends of their daughter. Investigators also noted that he has been sending and receiving inappropriate photographs with a young girl of 15 years.
Mizrachy was a well known pediatrician at West Broward Pediatrics of Plantation , in Florida. His name has been removed from the exterior poster.
“We are shocked and deeply disturbed by these accusations. Dr. Mizrachy’s employment ended last year and he is no longer associated with our practice. We have no evidence that any crime has been committed in the performance of their professional duties. We have been in close communication with the families of our patients, referral sources and others to reaffirm our absolute commitment to the health and well-being of our patients, ”the company said in a statement.

At least one insurance company, United Healthcare, has sent a letter to the patients’ families informing them that he would no longer be serving. Records on the internet indicate that Mizrachy’s license is still active and that he has no prior discipline or any type of complaint on his proceedings.
