An Australian woman bought a handful of lottery tickets to include in the Christmas cards she sent to friends and family. What she did not imagine is that the ticket that she had left over and kept for her made her earn more than $ 7, 000 dollars.
The woman from Edgeworth, New South Wales, explained to The Lott officials that he bought several scratch-off tickets and that after including them in each Christmas greeting card, he discovered that he had one left over.
“I thought the best thing would be to keep it for myself,” recalls the woman , as reported by UPI.
The lucky winner scratched the ticket and verified that she had won a prize that did not I was expecting, $ 7, 765, dollars.
“I was dumbfounded,” she said. “I was so excited. I could not believe it. I just sat there completely stunned. ”
The winner admits that the ticket could have gone to anyone else, bringing good fortune to any of her friends or family.
