Hugo Fernández , former soccer player and technical director of Liga MX, assured that the president of the league , Enrique Bonilla , has him blocked from Mexican soccer.
The Uruguayan worked in various teams in Mexico, but claims that Bonilla blocked him because he refused to give him money that the manager asked for. This situation occurred when the coach was going to reach the extinct Red Sharks of Veracruz during the 2008.
Hugo Fernández, of 75, posted on Facebook that Bonilla would have asked him to ‘share a profit’ for his signing of the contract with the Red Sharks, a situation to which he refused, and for which the manager would have moved his ‘contacts’ so that he would not reach the port.
“I want to comment that I am not directing any team because more or less 10 years ago, Veracruz was interested in my services and Mr. Enrique Bonilla asked me for money so that I could do it, I did not want to give it to him because I do not like that kind of people, from then on he did not allow me to direct.
“When I called the club that wanted to sign me, I told its board not to do it, I don’t know how it was so strong if a team had that intention. It hurt my career and I have people who know that whenever there was a team that showed interest in my services, he would not allow it. I didn’t have to give him money, besides, he always told me that he had to share with Mr. Rocha Banda and another person, I’ll say his name, ”wrote Hugo Fernández.
In his Facebook account, Hugo Fernández, former technician of @ClubPueblaMX @TigresOficial Nacional and Peñarol, denounces that Enrique Bonilla, director of @FMF
asked him for money to let him go to Veracruz.
