One of the most rewarding things of my career took place in 2020 when , through the great leadership within our team, the conversations about j social justice, equality and human rights came to the fore and became actions. ”
“ Continue with those efforts without to be faithful to the people, the team and the country I love , exceeds the benefits of any individual award ”, Belichick declared in his letter.

Since beginnings of Trump’s term , is of public knowledge the relationship of understanding and mutual respect between one and another. At a rally of his presidential campaign of the 2016 in New Hampshire, Trump read a letter to the crowd that said Belichick sent him.
“Congratulations for a tremendous campaign . You have dealt with incredibly biased and negative media and have come off wonderfully. You have proven to be the best competitor and fighter. Your leadership is amazing, ”read Donald Trump.
Belichick later told reporters that wrote the letter out of friendship and loyalty . “I received a series of inquiries regarding a note I wrote to Donald. Our friendship dates back to many years ago and I think anyone who has spent more than five minutes with me knows that I am not a political person . The comments are not politically motivated. I have friendship and loyalty with Donald ”, clarified Belichick.
Recently, Trump has been selecting several sports and political figures for the honor. Hall of Fame Golfers Annika Sorenstam and Gary Player , along with the late Olympian Babe Didrikson Zaharias , last Thursday, they have been awarded this medal.
Belichick has been a member of the Council of Sports, Fitness and Nutrition of the President since the 2018.
