David Beckham returned to the United States with Inter Miami , of which he is the owner and president, admitting that there is “a lot of work ahead. ”
The English legend said he was grateful to be back in Miami as he prepares for the start of the new season of the MLS .
Beckham shared a photo at the team facility and wrote: “Thankful to return to Miami. A lot of hard work ahead… New beginning, new season ”.
The season starts until March , but one of Beckham’s first tasks is to bring in a new coach.
The owner of Inter Miami has had conversations with Phil Neville , who was his partner at Manchester United, he is close to accepting the position.
Neville is reportedly interested in the opportunity and the MLS team hopes to close a deal soon.
Inter Miami finished tenth in the Eastern Conference of 14 teams last season, securing last place in the playoffs.
Coach Diego Alonso was fired by the club this week, leaving the road free for a reunion between the former teammates of the England National Team.
