The storm “Filomena” paralyzes Spanish football: 27 matches suspended in total

The Royal Spanish Football Federation has reported the suspension of 26 matches throughout the territory of that country, including the Atlético de Madrid-Athletic Club of the men’s First Division.

The Crisis Committee of the RFEF is analyzing one by one each game in state-level competitions , as a result of the temporary of snow that is affecting Spain and that, inevitably, has resulted in the suspension of several football matches of different categories.

The meetings of higher categories, suspended by the storm, so far are:

– First Division: Atlético de Madrid-Athletic Club, Elche-Getafe

– Second Division: AD Alcorcón-Albacete Balompié, CD Mirandés-Rayo Vallecano and CD Leganés-UD Almería

– Primera Iberd rola (f): Real Sociedad-Real Madrid, RCD Espanyol-Sporting Huelva, Madrid CFF-FC Barcelona and Atlético de Madrid-Valencia CF
