Silvia Navarro returns to television with Telemundo in the most revealing role of her life

“Changes are not easy for me and this has been changing everything,” Navarro said. Even so, the artist of 42 bet to leave Mexico and return to a romantic comedy, but now in a hybrid between telenovela and series.

The romantic comedy takes place in Los Angeles and its starting point is the relationship of Loli, a single executive whose life is transformed when her best friend dies and must take care of her children.

“ I came from making ´La candidata´ (a political thriller) and ´Fall into temptation´, which was very truculent and I asked God to send me a comedy. I had a couple of offers before but I preferred to wait and Loli arrived ” , he recalled.

Because it is a comedy “that pats (embraces) the heart and because of the intensity that comes from working in an environment in which we all have to take care of ourselves (because of the covid pandemic – 19) ”, Navarro describes the am bient of the recordings as “very enriching.”

That does not mean it was easy. The first challenge was making the decision to move to the United States with a young child to carry out the project. “It was very difficult,” said Navarro.
