Host Trevor Noah , from 36 years and famous for headlining the show ‘The Daily Show ‘, decided to end the 2020 with the foot right, having acquired an imposing mansion in Bel-Air, California .
The property, designed by Mark Ríos and Japanese style, was purchased on 30 December by the presenter of the ‘Grammy’, through a trust, after disbursing the amount of $ 27, 500, 000 of dollars.
The house, marked with the number 700 of Stradella Rd , originally went on sale at 2018. Back then it was offered in $ 36, 000, 000 of dollars , but the lack of interested parties led their owners to reconsider their position.
From there it suffered some cuts in its price down to $ 29, 675 , 01 dollars , a figure that was further reduced.
According to the technical sheet, the property measures 11, 000 square feet of construction , is spread over three floors and is minimalist in style.
It consists of six bedrooms, 11 bathrooms, kitchen chef style, breakfast room, dining room, living room, main room, TV room, cinema room, library, office, wine cellar, bar, gym, sauna, elevator, among other rooms.
“The library, in particular, was designed from a room in Kyoto, using dark and heavy woods. And the spa looks like the old ryokans that I have visited in Japan ”, declared Ríos, in 2017, in an interview with the specialized magazine Architectural Digest.
In the roof area it has a very nice terrace with spectacular views of the surroundings and different amenities.
Outside it has a swimming pool with its respective spa area, gardens, outdoor bar, bonfire and guest house with games room.
The purchase of this imposing residence comes months after Trevor managed to finalize the sale of another mansion in the Bel-Air area, for which you received $ 21, 700, 000 dollars , the same that he had bought in 2019 by $ 20, 500, 000 dollars, so he scored a great deal.
