TEXAS – In a Facebook post, Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton said on social media that the people who rioted at the National Capitol in Washington were “members of Antifa” and not followers President Donald Trump.

Paxton, who was present at the event on the National Mall and spoke shortly before that President Trump did, said that “it is confirmed” that the people who entered the Capitol “are members of Antifa”, the group that in the past the President Trump lays down on him all the racial and anti-government protests.

There is no evidence so far that Paxton’s claim is substantiated.

Paxton has been a fervent replicator of the theories put forward by the president about what he claims was the theft of the elections.

Paxton was the one who drove a The lawsuit against the Pennsylvania elections before the Supreme Court of Justice.

The judicial body dismissed the lawsuit due to the lack of jurisdiction.

In another post on his Facebook social network, Paxton said that “patriots care about the integrity of elections and the law.”

The riots left four people dead inside the Capitol, as well as numerous damage to Congress facilities.
