Given the new legislation that includes in addition to the delivery of a second stimulus check from $ 600 dollars , some workers who earn income from both traditional sources and self-employment are entitled to get $ 100 additional dollars in addition to the $ 300 extra dollars in weekly unemployment benefits.

So far it is unknown if states have started to pay that extra amount because it is more difficult to program and requires that workers submit additional documentation.

“It is really unlikely that they are paying The $ 80 extras ”, said Michele Evermore , Policy Analyst for the National Employment Law Project a Yahoo Money . “People have to figure out how to get that information.”

In order to qualify for the benefit, workers must earn at least $ 5, 000 Dollars in self-employment income on an annual basis, but it’s not yet clear how states will accept the new documentation, according to Evermore. The $ 100 additional dollars will be available to unemployed workers until 14 of March.

Of the $ 900, 000 million dollars of legislation, around $ 00155, 000 millions of dollars have been allocated to the unemployment system, according to the Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget .

In addition to the extra weekly benefits , the stimulus agreement also e Extends the original benefits of the PUA and PEUC program by 11 weeks and exempts from overpayments for some programs.

In Some states workers receiving PUA and PEUC benefits may still see a lapse in their regular unemployment benefit payments, in addition to the $ 600 extra dollars a week , because the legislation was signed one day after some of the federal programs expired for which it might take some more time to reprogram them.
