The president of Mexico, Andrés Manuel López Obrador, considered that there will be no difference and there will be no “lawsuits ”With the president-elect of the United States, Joe Biden.
“We have a very good relationship with all governments, we maintain a very good relationship with President Trump, and we consider that we will not have any difference, We will not have problems, there will be no lawsuits with President Biden ”, he said.
During his morning conference, the Mexican president insisted that there should be a good neighbor policy between Mexico and the United States.
“ We have to agree, there has to be understanding. We cannot be distant neighbors. It has to do with a good neighbor policy ”, he pointed out in his conference from the National Palace.
When asked if he would attend the inauguration of the next president of the United States, Joe Biden, the Mexican president said that so far he has not received an invitation and he does not want to travel as much.
“ I do not have an invitation and I have decided to leave little since I was in office, I have only made one trip to Washington, to the White House because it was very important to start the Free Trade Agreement ”
López Obrador also set his position on the events in the United States Capitol. He reiterated that Mexico maintains its policy of non-intervention and regretted the human losses during the demonstration.
“ We are not going to intervene in these matters that correspond to resolve, to serve the Americans, that is our policy.
