At least 4 people were killed in the assault on the Capitol by Trump supporters

Four people died on Wednesday when supporters of President Donald Trump violently occupied the United States Capitol.

The woman was shot early Wednesday as the mob tried to break through a barricaded door on Capitol Hill where police were armed on the other side . She was hospitalized with a gunshot wound and then died.

The cause of death for the three people who suffered medical emergencies will be determined by the Medical Examiner’s Office.

The Fire Department and emergency services of the capital transported others 10 injured people. Fourteen DC police officers were also injured , police said.

Authorities reported that they located and destroyed tube bombs an ice chest containing Molotov cocktails was found at the headquarters of the Democratic National Committee and the Republican National Committee and on the Capitol grounds.

The Mayor of DC, Muriel Bowser, extended by 15 days a public emergency declared on Wednesday .

Arrests after curfew Curfew started in DC at 6 pm on Wednesday. Arlington and Alexandria, in Virginia, were also under curfew. Many pro-Trump protesters remained on the streets of DC in defiance of the order.

At 06: 30 pm, DC police reported 47 arrests for curfew violation. Five others were arrested for gun violations.
