Daughter and boyfriend charged with murder of woman in upstate New York

A teenager of 17 years old and her boyfriend of 16 were charged with the murder of a woman in upstate New York.

According to Rochester First, Ottilia Piros, of 36 years, was found dead on 29 December when agents were called to made to inquire about the well-being of the woman.

This Tuesday, Drew Forsythe, Chief of Police of Greece, a town west of Rochester, reported that Hannah Thomas and her boyfriend Richard Avila were arrested and charged with second-degree murder. Thomas is the daughter of Prios .

“We are not going to speculate on the reason why this was done other than to say it was a heinous act and that’s all I’m going to say about it, ”said Forsythe. “She was shot at close range in the head. For me, that’s an execution. ”

The Chief of Police said that The suspects are Arizona residents but were visiting the area for the holidays. Thomas and Avila were arrested in Missouri, when he was traveling in Prios’ car.

The detainees will be extradited to New York.

“This woman, who did not deserve this, was murdered during the holidays for his own daughter , ”said Forsythe. “Our hearts go out to that family and their friends because there is nothing worse than that.”
