A Memphis man was charged with abuse and neglect with a minor after he left his three-year-old daughter in a parking lot while on duty.
According to WMC, agents arrived at a parking lot of an Amazon warehouse after of a person reporting seeing a little girl in the driver’s seat of a vehicle.

The policemen forcibly opened the car to rescue the girl. The minor’s father, identified as Lionel Childs , of 30 years old, appeared on the scene and explained that he left her in the vehicle while she was completing her shift at Amazon as she did not find a person to care for her.

Childs was arrested at the scene. Agents bought a McDonald’s Happy Meal for the minor as she was hungry.
The girl was delivered to Services of Minors after she was examined by firefighters who arrived at the scene. Amazon has not commented on the matter.
