“I started to seduce him, disgustingly! Because I was afraid of my life!”

Dalilah Polanco told in an interview with Yordi Rosado that she was the victim of a physical and sexual assault by a public figure.
The actress said that the experience was some years ago, after the presentation of a telenovela.
“At one time I also felt the strength of a man who wanted to subdue me in some way. I was very drunk and it was a terrible experience because then you realize ‘if he wants to kill me, he will kill me’.
“It’s that easy, it was a very ugly experience that I don’t wish for to anyone and I had to be much smarter than him to get out of that situation without being raped or beaten or killed ”, He said.
Although Polanco did not give the name of his attacker, he assured that it was a recognized person in the middle and detailed what he had to do to escape the situation .
“It was a very strong thing because you realize the irrational fears and how you do foolish things or keep quiet just to listen to your fears. ”
The comedian also explained that her perpetrator harassed her during the presentation without caring that it was a public event.
“Just when I was about to leave, I felt him grab me by the neck, pick me up off the ground and put me in his truck. Yes it was scare. Blessed be God, it didn’t happen (a violation). Yes there were bruises and mistreatment because finally there was physical violence when trying what he wanted.
“I was going with a friend, and my friend was very drunk. So when she gets me into her truck I tell her ‘wait for me a little while, I’m responsible for her’. I started to lower my guard (I stopped struggling) because I said ‘this one already has it in his head, I am already his prey and he is stronger than me, much bigger. ”
He argued that he took her by force several times, threatened her in at least a couple of occasions and that he even put their lives at risk by driving while intoxicated.
“I started to seduce him, disgustingly! Because I was afraid of my life!
“Of those times you say: I feel so small, but I have to draw strength from somewhere because this is not going to happen to me. ”
Finally, she was able to escape from her attacker , but it was an unpleasant experience and one that made her feel very vulnerable.
“It’s not your fault! If a man likes you and wants to abuse you, don’t feel guilty. I was guilty for a long time, ”he added.
In the interview, the actress also talked about the baby she lost, her ex-husband Sergio Catalán and her relationship with Eugenio Derbez.
