An old man of about 90 years was rescued after falling 10 feet (3 meters) down a storm drain in Long Island (NY).

Central Islip Fire Chief Christopher Portelli, said it took the first responders about 45 minutes to get the man, who suffered the accident out of his residential building at 201 Medea Way, just after 1pm Saturday.

The victim, whose name was not disclosed, was taken to a hospital with serious injuries, but in stable condition, reported Pix 11.
