The President Donald Trump faces several lawsuits, mainly for how it has managed its companies and the conflict of interest with its government, but the disclosure of the audio where it is heard asking to “find” more than 11, 000 votes in Georgia to change the electoral result could open the door to another lawsuit.

According to legal experts, the president violated the law in that entity by pressuring the Secretary of State, Brad Raffensperger, on the votes that will help to annul the electoral victory of Joe Biden.

In the audio published by The Washington Post the Republican is heard reprimanding Raffensperger and Governor Brian Kemp to do everything possible to change the outcome of the elections in the entity.

“So look. All I want to do is this: I just want to find 11, 780 votes, which is one more than we have, because we won the state. There is nothing wrong with saying, you know, that you have recalculated ”, says President Trump.

Several legal experts point out that this constituted a violation of Georgia law for criminal solicitation of voter fraud.

“The president asked, in no uncertain terms, the secretary of state to invent votes, to create votes that weren’t there” , said Anthony Michael Kreis, Professor at Georgia State University School of Law, a Politician.

That position was joined by Jed Shugerman, professor at the Faculty of Law of the Fordham University.

Both experts noted that President Trump would not be able to forgive himself if he were indicted for the phone call, as the case would be in state court, not federal.

“The most damaging part of the call is when Trump says that the Secretary of State should simply say that he ‘rebooted’ the numbers,” Kreis said.
