Saturday night, a teenager from 16 years lost his life in a shooting that took place in the popular district of Aubiers , in Bordeaux and four other young people have also been injured. We still do not know the stakes and the circumstances of this shooting.
The emergency services intervened after 20 h, after reporting a gunshot wound, in the neighborhood which had been the scene of incidents on New Year’s Eve. After the area was secured by the police, the firefighters discovered a teenager from 13 years old, seriously injured. He was declared dead shortly after his arrival at the Bordeaux University Hospital, said the emergency services.
Two other teenagers with gunshot wounds
According to a police source, in a building in front of which the shots had been drawn, the emergency services also discovered two other teenagers, from years and 13 years old, also shot and wounded. Seriously affected for one of them, they were hospitalized at the Bordeaux University Hospital, but their vital prognosis is not engaged.
On New Year’s Eve, the Aubiers district had been the scene of repeated incidents, with bus and tram destroyed, a post office burned down, and fireworks and projectiles were fired by the police during their interventions. The district is also associated with sporadic rivalries with young people from two other cities in the north of the Bordeaux conurbation. The incidents of the night of Saint-Syvelstre had not caused any injuries, and two days later had not given rise to arrests.
