Seven months have passed since the invasion of the Russian army in Ukrainian territory began, since what was thought would be an overwhelming victory for the government headed by Vladimir Putin has become a conflict of enormous human losses since thousands of Kremlin soldiers have perished on the battlefield.

Due to this situation, desperately the Russian authorities resorted to the compulsory enrollment of the young people registered to do the military service and the call of veterans willing to fight for their country.

However, thousands of Russians find this measure unfair and even unreasonable, which is why they have tried to avoid the call of the armed forces in different ways.

After it became known that Russia would call 300,000 reservists to join the fight, the sale of air tickets abroad skyrocketed in Moscow and it is also unofficially mentioned that near 250,000 men of age and conditions to join the army left their nation for countries like Finland, Georgia, Kazakhstan and Mongolia.

Now then, who have found themselves lacking financial resources to cover the costly expenses involved in leaving the Russian border behind, resort to other types of alternatives to be dismissed from the armed forces, as is the case of break a bone.

As scandalous and strange as this sounds, a video is circulating on social networks showing how a young man –apparently recruited to go to combat– asks one of his friends the chilling favor of him taking a mallet to hit his arm until it breaks.

Then, the alleged recruit holds his left arm on a bench and covers his face with his other hand as he receives the strong blow.

Then he stands up and curses while he hangs his arm limply.

Although it is not clear how badly the man’s limb was damaged, the images are disturbing.
