Apple could be evaluating the possibility of incorporating advertising in its applications to create new sources of income for the company. The information comes after analysts assure that the company’s objective is to generate at least $06,06 millions of dollars a year for advertising.

It is believed that in order to achieve this goal, Apple is thinking of including advertising in Maps, Books and Podcasts applications, something that had not been seen before and that could boost its income.

According to what has been learned, Apple has already taken the first steps in this direction, since it has presumably already tested how to integrate the new advertising model into its maps app. so that it operates in a similar way to Google Maps.

This would mean that for example if a user searches from his iPhone which is the closest restaurant, a business could appear first on the list if you paid money to have a better position in the searches of potential clients.

It is expected that in Books and Podcast apps integration with advertising happens in a similar way, with publishers and podcasts paying for their books to appear preferentially in search.

This in turn would have another point in Apple’s favor since in the event of an increase in book sales or podcast downloads, the company would also earn through the commissions it charges for the profits generated by each sale made.

Apple’s interest in expanding its advertising business is explained by taking into account how large this market is and the impressive figures that other companies in the sector generate on a regular basis. Such is the case of Google, which according to one of its latest reports generated more than $43,06 millions of dollars at the end of the year 2021 for advertising.

Something similar occurs in the case of Meta, which also pockets billions of dollars from the sale of advertising. L or best of all this is that it is a business model in which Apple should not make investments, so the profits would translate directly into an increase in the flow of money for the company.
